What Goes Up... Must Come Down

Danny arrived last night after the twins were fast asleep. He was coming back from an Iowa wrestling trip. Dawn was going to meet him here today and they were heading to Cinicinnati to enjoy a hookey day at the Red's opening day on Monday with Thad and Paula.

The twins let Danny get them out of bed and snuggled with them for quite a while.

Danny started a tent by just placing a sheet over all of them - they thought this was the coolest! When Dawn arrived (while Danny was at a wrestling meeting), she brought some special, multi-colored pencils from the art store that were quite a hit.

When they were finished drawing, they encouraged Dawn to build a tent.

The visit ended with a little dancing.

Because Danny and Dawn were visiting at different times, I didn't want either the aunt and uncle or the twins to miss out on a visit. So, we skipped naptime. Made for a rough evening, but it was worth it.

Thomas didn't eat dinner - he fell asleep promptly in his chair. He would cry each time his head bobbed from side to side. He'd also cry each time I tried to unbuckle his seat to get him to a more comfortable spot. So, I just let him nap there for a short time.
