A Little TOO Curious

We were quite excited to go to the zoo to see Curious George today. In fact, Thomas was not wanting to sleep last night and what calmed him down was the knowledge that if he could get to sleep, we would see "Monkey George" in the morning.

We went straight to the line. Both Veronica and Thomas were excited and ready. They waited patiently. We told them they could leave if they didn't want to wait - they both wanted to wait. The tune changed when it was our turn, however. Both cried and needed to be held. Thomas was willing to give a quick high five to the monkey, but no more. Veronica's scream made the monkey visibly shudder.

Upon recovering from the over-sized monkey incident, we headed to the dolphin dome to watch the dolphins. The kids enjoyed this area and the dolphins were plenty and active when we were there.

Thomas took a little side trip near the deserts.


A highlight about every time is the train ride. They both ask for it.
