Thomas decided to sleep in this morning. That put us a little behind for leaving NV for Greenwood, where we were meeting up with Carol and her daughter Emily. I thought they understood which Emily - they made a lot of appropriate references. Then they started mentioning Curt, and Opie. Opie made sense as my cousin Emily has a dog named Opie. I think the Curt reference may be from Carol (Curt is Carolyn's sister).
Anywho... we had a great lunch with our friends and even caught a glimpse of one of their cats, DJ. They enjoyed stamping together. Emily was super helpful getting dolls unstuck from the shopping cart Veronica was driving. Thomas became attached to the singing Frosty the Snowman they had - didn't want to see it go. Eventually he kissed the whole group of those dolls on the way out. (Frosty, the Abominable Snowman, Rudolf and more!)

After a nap and some snuggles at our house, there was quite a celebration to see Daddy when he came home. It was so sweet to see how excited they were to see him (it had been 5 days).
