We were invited by friends to go to the zoo today, but it was a unanimous vote to stay home. I guess that's becoming a novelty.
I was inspired by my friend Jennifer's (Not)Martha Moment and decided to make a sandbox for the kids.
They really enjoyed it. Eventually, however, Veronica noticed the sand in her shoes and insisted on going inside. She got over it thought as I was FINALLY pruning the rose bushes and pulling some weeds. Still a long way to go in that area, but by the time they are teenagers we may have a decent flowerbed again.

Yay--another sandbox! I know it's just putting sand in a storage box, but didn't you feel so crafty doing it?
