Where's God?

Yesterday before nap time, Veronica grilled me on why we sleep. She did the same to Judson last night. Here's how the questioning went...

V: Why do we sleep?

J: Because it's getting dark.

V: Why is it getting dark?

J: Because the sun is going down.

V: Why is the sun going down?

J: Because God makes it go down.

V: Where is God?

J: In Heaven.

V: Where is Heaven?

J: It's far away. Julianne and David are in Heaven with God.

V: Why are Julianne and David in Heaven?

Fortunately, Thomas said something to distract her, and that let Judson just be in the moment.

Today at the lunchtime prayer, we were going through things we were thankful for (grandparents, each other, television, etc.). Thomas added, "now." I was glad to be reminded of how thankful I am for now.
