After the reunion in Carrollton, KY, we headed to Madison to visit with Wes, Sonja, Mikiah, Haniah, Mama, and Daddy Gayle some more. We have not had the privilege of spending a lot of time with Wes's family, but those boys didn't miss a beat! Mikiah settled Thomas down into a game of checkers. He was very patient with his teaching, and Thomas was very focused on what was being taught. Mikiah made sure Thomas won and then we all headed outside to pick blackberries. Haniah lead the expedition from choosing the berries to washing and distributing.
Veronica was the only girl, but she was quite spoiled by all the boys.
